Random Talk : Gratitude

Hello! Yes you, the wonderful person reading this, hello! This article is dedicated to you as a token of thanks. I do not know if you stumbled upon this article, or if you are reading this because I asked you to, or because you have a genuine interest in my writing. And honestly I don’t care. If you are reading this, please know that I am incredibly humbled and thankful.

I am thankful, because you have taken the time to read this post, and my previous posts. If you haven’t, then you are welcome to do so. If you have, then once again thank you. I am grateful because someone, somewhere in the world, aka You, are reading this because if you made it to this sentence it means that you understand what I am trying to say and you want to know more.

It has been two years since I have started this blog. I started this blog because I wanted to share my thoughts. Share them with friends and family, share with strangers or pretty much anyone who was willing to listen. (Read in this case). I started this blog because I wanted to improve the way I write. I wanted to improve my language skills. I wanted someone to read what I write and say that it was good, nay decent, not because they knew me, but because they genuinely liked what I put up on their screen.

Above all I started this blog because of my passion. I have a passion for a lot of things, and this blog has become a small box where I can store these random analyses. I do have an interest in many more things which I haven’t discussed, but most of the stuff I have discussed on the blog until now, are some of my favorites. I have a lot of opinions on a lot of matters, but somehow I have come to express on my opinions on certain topics.

I seem to be getting off topic here. Anyhow, around about twenty posts ago I started doing the “one day one post” schedule, and I have been able to keep it up, fortunately, one way or the other. A lot of comments which I got on my one of my previous posts, where I basically said that I put an article up 

even though I was sick, asked me to do it because I wanted to, and not because I felt like I needed to.

Let me clarify, if there is something I need to do, there is a high chance I won’t do it unless I want to. I do this every day because I gain the satisfaction of seeing my words on paper, albeit virtually, and I get to share my mind with you.

That brings me back to the reason why I am writing this article. You. You are the reason I have grown so much. I owe so much to you. You may be one of the hundreds of people I want to thank, but I can’t name because this post would become too long. Or you may be a complete stranger, one in the billions of people around the world. Well whoever you are, if you are reading this, know that you are special to me.

You are the reason I am here. You are the inspiration which makes sure that I continue writing every time I see the number of views get on my blog. You are the reason why I was able to confidently set up a website.

Yup, I have a website. www.spreadthename.com. It is something which has been in the recesses of my mind for some time now. But it is because of the response I have gotten from so many of you that I got the confidence to start it. It is nothing great. I know it is linked to Word press, and I know that it doesn’t look professional, or flashy. But it is mine. And I have it because of you. Whoever you are, I thank you yet again from the bottom of my heart. I may not be able to meet you personally but please know that, every night, when I go to sleep, however late it may be, it is the satisfaction which you give me that makes sure that I sleep peacefully.

I want to assure you that, even though I have started a website, I will still be putting up a post a day on this blog. This is where I started, and I don’t intend to let it go. I don’t want to end this post like I usually do. I don’t want to tell you what is coming next, not because it is a surprise, but because this article is that special to me, and I feel so humbled to be able to write this.
